Research highlights the importance of activity and environment in memory formation and recall. Motion Learning harnesses these insights by prioritizing active learning, contextual variation, and creating a welcoming environment tailored to each student's unique learning needs.

Second, the name reflects the connection between motion and emotion, which share a common Latin root in the verb movere, meaning to move, stir, or agitate. The Latin exmovere means to move out of, aptly capturing the idea that emotion emerges from something, and also that some things emerge from emotion, such as learning.
